Alabama defense is stronger and a little more difficult to move the ball against.

LSU defense is faster and makes more game changing plays.

How many offenses have you played that are in the top 60 of total offenses?

Did I have any of the scores wrong? Like I said in the OP, each side can claim that this was a special teams miscue and that was a garbage time TD, but those numbers show that these defenses are very very close. Bama will give up less yards and LSU will take away more turnovers. Either would suffocate any offense in the country including each other's and their own.

I have the sense that Oregon would have clobbered Alabama around the edges.

LaMichael would have rushed for a buck 20.

Hey Will, give back that 2007 NC ring! LSU had TWO losses

So....LSU wasn't a conference champion?

And everyone else had two losses except after the final weekend except Ohio State and Kansas. Are you saying Kansas should have played for the championship after playing a weak schedule, not winning their conference, and not winning their division in their conference?

The answer is 1. Bama has only played one offense in the top 60.

Lsu has played 2 in the top 20 and 4 in the top 40. ETA 5 in the top 60 We have the better defense.

I saw over and over how the two Tiger's fans argued about how Bama claims all the NC's they've ever been awarded. Over and over, whining and crying. Nothing would appease them or make them believe otherwise, so now, I just do what they want. I claim them all. We've got 26, going on 27.
