Yep. That's why teams should be seeded by rankings instead of Conference Championships.

There was also Florida and Miss St when LSU played them.

At the time LSU played them Miss St was 18th and Florida after Bama played them was ranked 24th then add the Teams above not mentioned here and you get 9 Teams that were ranked during the year. Then add Bama Again for the Game Monday Night.
LSU started the season off with Oregon #3 LSU was #4. LSU played Bama #2 then Arkansas #3 then Georgia was #10. Now the BCS CG places Bama #2 again. I know that is above Bama's ability to give credit which it is not in their DNA.
