Umm... Tell him he's fired then pay him his buyout. Why does everyone act like Ole Miss has no money?

It's not that easy. You have his buyout. Then you you have to payout the rest of his staffs' contract. Then whoever you get.....which in this case, Ole Miss fans think they can get a top coach or coordinator for whatever reason, you will have to match what you paid Nutt or little less. Plus you then have to pay that new staff. So in the end, it is a good bit more than $6 million.

Depends on who all we keep. I can see us keeping Burns, Brewer, and the Nixs(for recruiting).

And it's not like we're going to be out all of this money at one time. Everything will be paid in payments over time. Nutt isn't getting one 2.something million dollar paycheck per year. He's getting a paycheck just like everyone else in the world.

No you wouldn't.

Mike Leach has been out of work for a year. We could pay him less than $2.5M a year. Malzhan, Smart, Vernables and other names I'm hearing haven't been head coaches, so we could pay them less than $2.5M a year.
