now that OM has taken the gut shot to Boone, they need to track him down and finish the job. otherwise, no decent coaching candidates would think about coming to Oxford to work under an AD that is losing control of the situation.

Agree with this. If your AD is that fricked up (only OM fans would know the answer to this) then he is going to have to go before you can get a good coach. I honestly believe there are some good choices out there that would jump at the chance to come to the SEC and rebuild a struggling program, but a fricked up AD who is under the gun will scare them off.

Ole Miss, you do not want to hire a coach before you hire an AD...cart before horse and would lead to a poor situation IMO.

Moreover, you do not want to be looking for both an AD and coach at the same time.

I think there is validity to the argument that you have to do one or the other, but not both at the end of this football season.

I'm hearing Forward Rebels has some really interesting documents about Boone.

Some that'll make OM fans go batshit.

Completely agreed. If we get beat by Kentucky, he needs to be gone immediately. If we lose to State (god forbid) and he hasn't resigned within 24 hours of the loss, the fans may have to resort to literally chasing him out of town. Nutt can stay for a while since he's not going to do that much harm to the program for the remainder of the year, but Boone certainly will.
