i'm just pointing out that you can't say LSU is better when they played a beat up Florida team AT HOME and Bama beat them just as bad in the SWAMP.

Ok, how about LSU also beat Oregon in TX, WVU in WV, and UF at home. That easly trumps @ PSU, @ UF, and Ark at home.

Only defender you've ever had that could manage to tackle him one on one has left you.

So all it takes to take down Trent, your All American RB, is a 225 lb CB? Damn ! Way to sell your player short...

pun intended.

I'm with Dlvs on this. Bama's kicker looks good with his shirt off, but kicks like a prepubescent girl. LSU has wing who will pin you deep and put you on your heels. Return game I'll give an edge to Bama, but LSU has excellent gunners in Mathieu and Brooks. Blue is really getting into the groove on the coverage team as well.

FG's is about even

So...

Punting - LSU
Returns- Bama
Coverage - push
FG- push
Kickoffs- LSU
LSU has a definite advantage on coverage to go along w/ kickoffs. LSU has allowed a total of 5 yds on punt returns. This is a def advantage for LSU

No no no... PSU has played a great schedule and has a top 20 defense according to the rankings, but all LSU's opponents have played shite defenses and weren't as impressive as PSU coming back to beat Temple at Happy Valley.

In TX with mostly LSU fans and WV only won by 1 point against Maryland so that kills your argument. It was still to read though.

I can't disagree with the OP. Both teams are very similar and homefield would give Bama the edge. Whoever makes the least mistakes probably wins.

I agree with you on this; Penn St. hasn't been great but they are still winning as ugly as it seems they still win.

LSU is more than double bama in turnover margin

ETA: make that more than triple

While WVU and Oregon are rolling 50 pts on teams after losing to LSU, PSU is struggling with the likes of Indian, Temple, and Iowa.

If our wins are having meh games, then PSU is getting beat with an ugly stick while they prepare to bend over backwards for the upcoming schedule.

tough 4 game stretch right there. I bet they finish just enough to be bowl eligible.

correction LSU has almost 4x's the TO margin of bama. Fortunately, LSU avoided N. Texas so it was able to run up those stats
