I am basing it solely on statistics at this point and Home field even though it seems Bama struggles to make it a true nightmare for opposing teams to come in there and win.

Idk about a nightmare, but if iirc Bama has won 24 of the last 25 home games. Auburn got lucky last year.

Ever notice when a team wins over bama it's almost always because of luck? Yet when bama wins its because of better personnel, coaching, adjustments, etc?

It was not "luck" that lead AU over Bama last year. If anything it was better talent where it mattered and the fact that Bama didn't adjust as well as AU.

Biggest difference in this game is AJ has never seen a defense this good, J. Lee and J. Jefferson both have seen Alabama last year.

Dont even need to remind everyone Alabama lost to an offense no where close to as good as we are this year last year.

LSU 23
Alabama 17

I understand that LSU has better numbers through the air; i'm just pointing out that you can't say LSU is better when they played a beat up Florida team AT HOME and Bama beat them just as bad in the SWAMP. Nov 5 is going to tell us everything we need to know.

I'm wondering what that 26th game was...?

Moral victory for bama!

I don't think any LSU fan is saying LSU will win because of ONE game this season. They are basing that off the entire body of work thus far in the season. When the marbles are down, LSU and Miles are money...especially with a week to prepare. I think our passing game lines up well with Bama's secondary. I hope Bama stacks the box all night because bama hasnt seen an OLine like ours all year and I think it will give JLee/JJ enough time to make some clutch passes.

As previously stated, I like our passing game a hair better than Bama's, Bama's rushing attack is better, but LSU's ST play is better (hands down in the kicking department.)

IMO, it will fall either way by a margin of 1 TD (likely less)

ETA: My biggest concern for LSU is our WRs...while I have a lot of confidence in our OLine to give JLee/JJ enough time to air it out, we cannot afford to have a ball hit a WR in the numbers and dropped.

Bama will get the breaks on officiating.......

Voila! There it is!

As sure as the sun rises in the east or the sea is salty, never a day goes by that the plaintive wails of 'Bama pays the refs' lilts across the swamps of the gulf coast.

Once again, my day is complete.

Alabama is.

In fact, it's an easy win. I look for the third-string to see plenty of playing time in the third-quarter against LSU.

Yeah go with that.

Yeah cause that's what I said. They were down 24 pts and could have been down by 35. If you think it requires a couple of breaks to comeback from that deficit, then you don't watch much football.

I still think the Bama offence as a unit is better.

Yeah, you're right. We have never neutralized or taken Richardson out of the game.

Only defender you've ever had that could manage to tackle him one on one has left you.

And no...the honey badger will not be able to fill the void on this particular task.

Our whole defense is a bunch of undersized pussies too.

Some idiots never learn the concept of last year = last year.

my thoughts on this game are fairly simple.

i hope both teams show up undefeated.
i hope both teams play up to their potential.
i hope the refs dont decide the outcome.
i hope no one is seriously injured.

if these things happen? this game could be one of the best ever played.

Our defense this year, will be head and shoulders above any defense your seniors have faced....ever..... with the possible exception of our 2009 defense. And this one might be better than that one.

Dude, LSU's offense faces a better defense every day - LSU's 2nd string defense.
