The 17k tax free is a great attempt at hiding the ball. TR would have to cash in his room and board to get that much for each semester plus a summer term. Thus, he would not only have to pay his car note, insurance and gas, but he also would have to pay rent, utilities, food and etc. for a full year with that.

Also, the clothing fund is bs and is not allowed for athletes. Schools do not give athletes a clothing fund.

You're gonna have to argue these points with Flint Harris, a nine year veteran of compliance matters like this. Holy Turf.

He strongly argues that you don't know WTF you are talking about and since he's smarter than you are, I'm taking his side.

Now, really. I want to know about these private investigators who may (or may not) be stalking Bama football players.

I want to know WHO is paying those private investigators. If it is a business owner no Alabama fan should do any business with him period

I read Holy Turf and he is not being truthful. I also was a scholarship athlete and know wtf I am talking about. I also doubt his credentials because he lists sources of funding that are only available upon request to the NCAA in special circumstances, but treats them like they are available at every athletes whim.

How do you know he is smarter than I am? Do you know him? Do you know me? Do you even know if he is who he says he is? Also, if you read his post you would see the 17 k mostly comes from cashing in an athletes room and board allowance for 3 semesters in a year. Again, an athlete can do that, but he has to then pay his own living expenses and food bills (except when on the road or a pre-game meal).
