The 17k tax free is a great attempt at hiding the ball. TR would have to cash in his room and board to get that much for each semester plus a summer term. Thus, he would not only have to pay his car note, insurance and gas, but he also would have to pay rent, utilities, food and etc. for a full year with that.
Also, the clothing fund is bs and is not allowed for athletes. Schools do not give athletes a clothing fund.

A 2007 Tahoe LS listed out new around 34k.
Don't know what package TR 's is nor the mileage..but today a 07 Tahoe LS with 75k in milage is valued in the high teens to low twenties.
