We were hit with Sanctions during his time, and he couldn't control any of his players.

But we won back to back bowl games (and against Ohio State)

But Gamecocks fans think he's the greatest Analyst on ESPN.

I'm not sure about that. His beef was primarily with Frank Broyles. At the time, people took Frank's side, but it was never ANYWHERE close to as polarizing as Nutt was.

Most Arkansas fans have a reasonable view of Lou. They love what he did as a motivator and a coach, but didn't like the fact that he hated to recruit and made a few quips that rubbed people the wrong way.

That is at least my interpretation.
