With the UA D, I would be alright with 17 or so...

You can come up with as many excuses as you like about personnel problems but the fact of the matter is that your offensive performance was pretty mediocre last year against LSU

First.. Lsu won, I give them that and they deserved it. But that statement isn't looking at the stats.

Bama had

19 first downs, more than Lsu
223 yds passing, more than Lsu
102 yds rushing, half of Lsu's, and that is mediocre.
31:13 TOP
3 TD's

That's not exactly mediocre against a top defense.

Chavis had the 3rd ranked defense in the country right before they fired him and Fulmer. Not his fault y'all went 5-7. Wyoming, really

Chavis and Fulmer were fired before the Wyoming game.

But yeah, I really miss Chavis' defenses. Not too many can hold Florida to 59 points with Jerod Mayo, Eric Berry, Dan Williams, Robert Ayres, and Jonathan Hefney.

Stopping Matt Mauck QB draws with a D-Tackle 3 deep of John Henderson, Albert Haynesworth, and Aubrayo Franklin is equally as challenging.

I feel pretty confident that the turnovers will be addressed before LSU comes to BDS.

It's okay I don't seek validation from Tenn fans about their DC years ago.

ALAHUNTER....do you really exist? Your points per game total has gone down every year...pattern recognition, dude?

Pattern recognition is great but the outside factor is that he switched from UT to LSU. Big shocker that his defense is way better now. It has gone down because the guy has a lot more talent to work with.

What does this even mean? They'll be addressed? No shite dude, you're going to address the four turnovers from your two quarterbacks against a shite directional school? Dude, increase that Saban salary nothing gets by him.

It means that the 2 platoon system will not be in play.

Does noticing that Lee's passing yards (98) equal the number of shoes the police took from JJ as evidence the same thing as Pattern recognition?

Chavis has been good for us. He's improved our defense, we've got a great defensive staff alongside him, and I like the talent we have on the field. We need more linebackers to step up, but we're a primarily nickel team. We have some tough games this year and I hope we don't get snagged by any injuries. Our offense needs to help the defense a bit more passing the ball, but overall I was still happy with the performance. We had the short field and the offense put the ball in the endzone.

Is McCarron the odds on favorite to take the majority of snaps?

Tennessee has more SEC titles, more national titles, domination head to head, more overall wins, and a better winning percentage.

Yes, you guys are miles ahead of us.

I don't know. I'm sure someone better versed than me will let ya know. I thought he looked sharper, but they don't pay me to make those decisions.

That's a first class post dickhead. JC needed to go....I don't care who got him. LSU is a good fit for him because he doesn't recruit & ya'll don't have to look too far to find players. Simple as that....Xanadick.

I ask because you seem certain the platoon system won't continue. But if they're still this close, would Saban abandon the system without a clear advantage for one over the other?

If they had two different skill sets (Leak/Tebow), I would see it differently.

By the time LSU rolls around, UA will have played Penn State, Arkansas, and FL...with two of those on the road. Things will sort themselves out accordingly.
