In related news, Steve Kragthorpe issued a press release stating that the discipline problems on the team are a holdover from the Bobby Petrino era and in no way reflect his coaching and working with players. All of the players involved were thugs before he got there and his coaching style has absolutely nothing to do with the upswing in arrests and violent incidents after his arrival.

So the Rant has a poster reporting live from the police station. Poster went there and is taking cell phone pics from the parking lot. Hilarious!

When it turns out he wasn't just "there to help his friend".
or the fact he was there harassing his girlfriend and he and his friends started the whole mess.
Dude is a crazy bitch, fricked with a football team, got his arse handed to him and decided to press charges. What a fricking douche.

Probably already posted in here, but just in case:

Release from Bonnette:
BATON ROUGE – Jordan Jefferson and Josh Johns have been suspended indefinitely from the LSU football team, head coach Les Miles announced on Friday.
Miles said that no timetable has been set on the suspension.
“Jordan and Josh have been suspended indefinitely,” Miles said. “We will continue to cooperate with the authorities in an effort to find out exactly what took place during the incident.
“As sad as this incident is, it’s important that we learn from this and that we take away a valuable lesson. This has weighed on all of us. It’s time for us to come together as a team and focus on what we are here to do.”

Tough to walk away when the "victim" throws the first punch.

I think the cops would have let this slide, but you have a marine and a guy with a broken neck/back involved who want to press charges. The cops didn't have much of a choice once the media got involved.
that's one way to put it.. another is "but you have a stalker and a guy who got stepped on during a brawl who are in for their 5 minutes of fame"

I don't think it matters why he was at the bar though. If he threw the first punch then the charges should be reduced imo, but he still kicked a guy that was down on the ground.
I'm not defending Jefferson. Just pointing out that the marine was not some innocent bystander. Can we at least include in every news story, rather than simply mentioning that he was a marine, that he was a marine, who had allegedly been stalking a female patron and had been kicked out of the bar....

As long as those charges are felonies, I don't think he has a choice.

One thing the Cam Newton saga taught me was nobody cares about the truth. They believe what they want to believe. You can't win.

i love to see people defend thugs when they do something wrong. Just because they play football they are not innocent. Someone has fractured vertibre and got assaulted but the trash that did it is the victim Tell another joke, hope jefferson and johns enjoy their time in the cell! Goodluck with Oregon
