Les is absolutely in the upper echelon of the league's coaches. I don't really care for the guy but after seeing him take that shite offense to 11 wins last season I don't think many can argue he obviously does something right.

Maybe so, but in terms of championships he's not on their level yet.

No he is not. Spurrier is the top coach in the league right now when you look at resumes with Saban right behind him. Down the list you have Les, Richt, Chizik, Petrino and so on.
Richt has struggled the last couple of years but go look at overall wins and see how Richt comes out, the teams he fielded early on were very very good and very underrated.
Mullen hasn't won anything yet other than a big bowl win. He has shown potential but not much else.
