While I don't think you are, its your invovlement in threads like these and your time of joining that make me wonder if you didn't at least start out as an ATPB poster.

Yeah, this has absolutely nothing to do with the Auburn stuff other than the fact that if there are in fact wiretaps that cant be used until this is over with, then it will now be longer before they can be used. I dont necessarily believe they exist, I'm just saying that that is the ONLY thing this affects in terms of the Auburn investigation.
Just because Milty is getting away with bribing politicians, doesnt mean he is getting away with bribing football players, if in fact he did.
LOL! You can't possibly be this stupid.
It amazes me to this day that people think Federal law enforcement will just hand over data/recordings gathered under a federal warrant of matters NOT pertaining to the investigation under which the warrant was issued.
Its so stupid, its funny.

you could have to witness the corruption that goes on in Atlanta. That makes Montgomery look like little league.
Indeed.
In Atlanta, they don't use their own money to influence and corrupt.
They use TAXPAYER money to influence and corrupt.

man, after looking at a couple of pages of ATPB, there are posters in there from Bama I have never seen on the SEC rant before.

Someone better put the ATPB congregation on suicide watch. They may be about to start drinking the koolaid.

ATPB is why I joined. I had never heard of this site until my friend emailed me a link to the ATPB thread. I got to looking around and decided I liked it here and proceeded to make it my home. Now I live here.
I'll level with you. Lay it all out.
I believe that Cam probably got paid. I dont know that it happened, but I figure it probably did. But until I see something from the NCAA that said it happened, I just take everything with a grain of salt. I get in on the ribbing occasionally because its fun, but I dont take it seriously. I find the people that believe all the ATPB crap to be hilarious and delusional. But I do believe that some of it really did happen, mostly the old stuff under Dye. There is just too much out there about that for it to not be true imo. But its irrelevant at this point anyway so what does it matter really.
That's it in a nutshell.

I *do* believe that Bama boosters are buying cars for certain recruits in areas like Gadsden and elsewhere. And I think they are DAMNED good at making it all seem on the up-and-up.
But, like you, some idiot "package" put together by a member of ITAT ain't gonna do it for me. Show me some PROOF, not just pics of the cars driving down the street taken by some pathetic stalker and tag numbers and shite.

Just looked at the first few Aub responses on the first page.
If AU truly did nothing wrong in the Cam thing, or with any other recruit, why all the expressions of relief at this decision? Serious question.

I didn't read through all of this, so SIAP, but what is sad is the amount of time and money spent by the State of Alabama to investigate, raid and attempt to prosecute this issue that could have been spent elsewhere.
Hopefully, this will result in a vote to legalize some form of gambling in Alabama other than paramutual wagering at the dog tracks. The state, most cities and counties could certainly use some additional revenue, and people who are going to gamble are going to do so whether in Alabama or another state.
Last nights Powerball drawing was for $220 million, so I'm sure that Georgia got a few Alabama dollars towards their education fund.
On June 29th, the winning ticket for a $76 million Powerball ticket was sold just over the Georgia - Alabama state line on I-20.

I can relate to that.

Yes, but if there was legal gambling, there wouldn't be the need to bribe legislators (for gambling).
So, do you think there would have been the need for (these) bribes if gambling was legal?
