Yeah, Chizik confirmed today that he's redshirting. He won't be ready to play again until Christmas

Was the Frost kid expected to contribute?

We are fairly thin at LB, so I think many were hoping he would help on the 2 deep. He was a beast in the all star game, FWIW. However, I don't think he was going to be a starter, except for maybe ST.

Disclosure to that extent could remove the "closed" status afforded under Muse.

So a reporter claiming that he has been told something by an "insider" he won't reveal removes any protections afforded to a state entity that has been served a legal document?

So Cecil Hurt can come out tomorrow, claim that he has been told by a "source" that Auburn has received an LOI and, because of this allegation, Auburn loses its "closed" status?

That does not make one lick of sense.

If you watch him play he goes down way too easy from contact

Apparently Chizik was not happy with this morning practice.

You just impressed upon us again why you were AE.

Yup, said the players looked as if they were pacing themselves for the afternoon practice.

In other news, I think Whitehead switched to #3.

Michael Dyer gets his yards from exceptional balance, patience, and some deceptive speed honestly. I don't see how anyone watches his highlights and says he goes down on first contact. That's not what I got at all.

I hadn't seen the compilation of Dyer that was posted earlier in this thread, great video that showcases his talents.

He wouldn't have been starting, but he definitely would have gotten good PT at outside linebacker. Honestly, he could have been starting by the end of the year though
