can't say this doesn't excite me because, if true, that means we're staring down the barrel of the first super conference. Stay tuned....

I'll accept this only if we don't have to play Alabama and Florida every single year.

Super conference??

Just because of the addition of A&M?? I don't think so.

I'd welcome the Aggies. Great tradition, pretty good program right now. And then- there's the Hou$ton market & media center.....

I thought we already played in the "super conference"?

TAMU has always been my distant "2nd favorite" team. Them coming to the promised land of college football will sever all ties.

Don't they have to get approval from the Tx legislature or something and isn't there a big huff over keeping Texas, aTm and Baylor in the same conference.

Texas just needs to get off it's high horse/and the other teams need to grow some balls and they need to share the wealth like every other conference before it's too late.

I would take Oklahoma to the SEC in a heart beat, but A&M/Missouri combo just doesn't do it for me.

Anyone thinking that LSU having to play Bama and Flor every season is not a huge disadvantage to LSU and a big plus for the likes of Bama, Aub, and Ark hasn't been playing attention to either the recent landscape of the SEC or college football on the whole. imo

not being a smart arse but why does it seem like the majority of folks think this is a good idea?

personally, i like the current SEC and do not see any advantages of adding two more teams? the only thing i see is it hurting lsu in recruiting in texas? what say you all?

How about this. Instead of bringing A&M and one other team, how about we just bring A&M and combine Ole Miss and state and keep the SEC at 12 teams. OM and state have sold a combined 90k season tickets, we could be a powerhouse.

Who would you want to be first in establishing a Super Conference? The SEC, Pac-12 or Big-12?
