Those are numbers, but you can't expect to make money via merchandise sales by being good, winning games and shite if 21,000 people are watching the game on TV instead of in person since you can only by merchandise at the game.

Assuming that a big win isn't worth any extra merchandise sales or media attention

Why, when you can play in Fayetteville and get $$$.

55,001 to 76,000

55,000 only to 55,000

Lets say there are 2 seats filled by individuals who pay for these seats with an amount of money that makes up for the 21,000 less sold tickets. Let's also assume that this amount includes if each bought a $6 hot 20oz coke, a $8 day old slice of pizza, $5 bag of stale popcorn, $30 hat, $35 t-shirt, $20 foam finger, and a $10 program each game.

So let's say that a couple of individuals write checks that more than covers your "losses" for each game, does it really matter where the game is played?

We probably make more money off of one game than any other by playing in Arlington, should be play every game in Arlington?

1 sky box in RRS is $45,000 before food and beer for each game along with a donation.

If you fail to see the point I understand why you don't work in finance. Otherwise, prove me wrong. I'd love to see this.

I'l make it easy $45,000 a year plus LARGE donation, not including beer and food for each home game in Fayetteville.

Those are paid for no matter what. No go and look how many Fayetteville has and how many Little Rock has.

But since you went ahead and brought it up, ill play the business card. If it is all business, which we both agree that it is, why are we still playing games in little rock if we lose money? Jack Stephens great grandson is one of my best friends, and I can assure you that that family can cover the losses. You aren't the only person on this board with business sense.

Setting the plan in place to pull out.

If you noticed Jeff Long correct the seating error and raised an extra $6.5 million just by moving the seats around in Fayetteville.

Win.

You announce skybox expansion, and 5,000 seats putting you over 80,000 in the next 6 years and it's game over.

The revenue will be to much and even the farmer will understand then.

I'm glad Jack Stephens grandson is your friend.

I know a few people myself and I haven't lived in the state in 7 years.

This is why Arkansas always looks to the past.. Um frickING HELLO!

The Walton grandsons (Yes, Sam Walton) was tailgating with us at the Arkansas vs Alabama game last year. They both had on Arkansas jeresy's and spraying Champagne everywhere during pre-game.

If Jeff Long Doesn't lock those boys up EPIC FAIL. Stephen's can lick my nutts compared to the Waltons.

Look at the New Money not just the Old Money!

Fine, 21,000 and everything mentioned before plus all the skyboxes, plus 55,000 gallons of beer, not to mention all the expenses of the team travel and lets say a $500,000 fee added.

All the "losses" from the games not being played in Fayetteville being paid for plus a large donation on top of it.

Would it matter if the game was played White Hall?

Correct.

Being competitive and drawing a LARGE check is more important. Championships come and go but the What If's drive business.

Gambling is only fun because of the split second you can win or lose money not the end result. The rush in the middle. College football applies here.

If Arkansas wins 8,9 or 10 games on a regular basis the AD does backflips. Ultra Successful business.

Where to begin...

Yeah, I expect we'll expand RRS in the next 2-3 years, and that will knock at least one game off the LR slate. Its a given that we will at least add more boxes.

Maybe that cuts down on our tailgating scene. We have more suites than anybody else, IIRC. There's less demand to drink in the park when so many people just go inside the stadium and drink before the game. Apart from that, its a lack of interest from the frats who would rather drink at their houses, the majority of which are just up the hill 100 yds or less from the stadium. Those lawns are steep hills. That, and the overall topography of campus makes it hard to have a large, continuous tailgate area.

Our best tailgate area would be Old Main Lawn, which is treed, large, and beautiful. It just so happens to be on the opposite edge of campus from the stadium, a very steep hike from the stadium, and surrounded by buildings and the city of Fayetteville. You can't drive onto Old Main lawn. It is terraced up about 5 feet from the surrounding sidewalks and streets. Hard to drop off stuff and pick up.

I no longer go to LR games. I haven't since 2006. I know a lot of people enjoy it, but the WVU-style tailgating shite is just not my style. I prefer the campus atmosphere before, and Dickson Street after.

Agreed. It once was fun but that was a long time ago before discipline came into my life, ha.

Athletic Master Plan Overview

Hog Pit Expansion, Dickson street connection, New Razorback Walk, New Pedestrian Promenade South of Stadium etc..
