Is there any chance on the horizon that this game gets moved to Fayetteville for the hogs home game vs LSU? Don't know how y'all hog fans feel but I'd be pissed if LSU traveled to Shreveport every other year to play a top 25 team, kinda screws the "home" team by having to travel and not having full capacity of their fans in their favor.

The same for the Mississippi State vs Arkansas game. A lot of our younger fans/alumni would love to visit Fayetteville and watch State play Arkansas there.

You guys barely fill in the seating around the band in LR...

State and Ole Miss told Jackson "No Thanks"
And so did Bama and Auburn to Birmingham.

Why Arksnsas continues to play home SEC games in Little Rock makes me scratch my head.

Ditto. Nobody wants to go to the shithole that is Little Rock and watch a game, except people from central/southern arkansas.

They should play all home SEC games in Fayetteville, and let the Little Rock games be OOC games.

No, it is all about politics. If we moved LSU to LR, we would then have 2 other SEC teams pissed at us that year for having to play there as I believe taking LR away would only be accomplished by agreeing to play 3 games a year there again.

LSU did play at Fayetteville our first year in the league. IIRC, it was unseasonably cold, both teams sucked, and no one showed up to watch the game.

The main reason given is that the "students" are not on campus to watch the game, like every student at the UofA is from LR...

We should play one OOC creampuff in LR for a few years and then completely drop WMS. There is absolutely no reason we should play a game in Arlington and two (one SEC) in Little Rock every year...

I hate that shithole of a stadium. It would be best for everyone if we could play the game in Arkansas real stadium

Since those influential donors have so much money, they can drive their arse the extra 3 hours to Fayetteville to watch a game.

vs.

I have no idea why Arky would even want to play in LR considering how nice their own stadium is. I'd rather them play in Fayetteville.

That uses to be the case in Mississippi and Alabama but change happened and we all agree that it is best that all home games are played on campus.

I remember attending many LSU away games vs both State and Ole Miss in Jackson, and no one was more glad than I was to see those games moved to Starkville and Oxford respectively.

Same is true of the LSU-Arkansas games in Little Rock...these deserve to be played on the respective college campuses.

Both LR and Jackson suck, and all the schools involved have nice campuses that all four fanbases deserve to experience.

A couple big money boosters, the type of boosters who get their names on buildings and shite after writing a "small" check.

MS. State wouldn't normally fill up DWR-RS as it is around the start of deer season which is a higher priority for many than showing up to watch that guaranteed win every other year.

LSU is a head scratcher, but it is hard to find an SEC team who is a home game for those year who is a small draw at DWR-RS like Ms. State.

less people travel to the game because of Thanksgiving weekend, not really necessary even if the suits allowed it.

Although if they did move it, I imagine a ton of people would show for at least a couple of years (the game is played there).

WMS is louder than RRS
