follow along.. The state government is backwards. Hint's the tax breaks I posted. Don't think directly think outside of the box, the big picture.

Right, but your argument was for games to be played in NWA, then you started talking about the problems of the entire state.

NWA is driving change for the whole state. The University would benefit finically from all games being played in RRS.

68% of the State's population is in Central or NWA today anyhow.

The worst attendance in Fayetteville was 62,000 for a D2 team during hunting season.

Little Rock's limit is 55,000 if we are playing Florida.

Please! tell me you understand the economic impact here?

arse backwards logic again.. :shakes head:

Please tell me you do not believe the inflated numbers given for these games?

They were doing the same thing in basketball with Pel counting season tickets sold, but seats unfilled as "attended". You say 62,000, I say lucky to be 50,000 having actually attended these games...

Ticket sales.. who cares about butts in seats. RRS over WMS every single time.. Box's alone blow out WMS for extra revenue.

Lets do the math again.. Arkansas's attendance is decreased by 35,000 fans yearly because of the seating difference.

This is just beating a dead horse, but the tailgating is what makes the difference. My 2 favorite days of the year are the little rock football games. NWA tailgating is awful. However, I don't understand why we can't trade LSU for a weak OOC other than WMS seems to be a very tough stadium for opposing teams.

You are not telling me something I do not already know...

What I'm saying that in a compromise to keep everyone "happy", the eastern Michigans, Missouri States, New Mexicos, and Ms. States of the world should be put in LR to fulfill the 1-2 games a year if it is determined that we should continue to play games in LR.

Understand?

FWIW, I agree with you on the state problems, I just don't see how it's relevant to the GSD, and it comes off a little holier-than-thou.

Good thing for LSU that 36 of the 54 games against Arkansas were played in Louisiana!

2010 Alabama vs Arkansas in Fayetteville was the best atmosphere for a game, I've ever seen.

On Campus, in the fall, top #15 teams, ultra packed stadium, dickson street, slammed with hog and bama fans, Ole Main all light up at night.. It doesn't get better than that.

Let's ignore the face in business you don't give a shite about tailgating.

1. When you remove options it forces tailgating to increase in Fayetteville.
2. You increase more revenue for the city and campus.
3. You increase more revenue for the athletic program with more capacity including boxes.

55,001 to 76,000

I'm not trying to build a reputation on a message board. I deal with wallstreet types daily. Numbers and facts are all that matter.

Most people don't have the stomach to keep up nor the heart. That is fine.

It is what it is.. If someone takes things personally on this board, grow up, you'll have WAY worse problems head in live. I'm just helping you achieve thicker skin sooner.

People should thank me.

Lets say there are 2 seats filled by individuals who pay for these seats with an amount of money that makes up for the 21,000 less sold tickets. Let's also assume that this amount includes if each bought a $6 hot 20oz coke, a $8 day old slice of pizza, $5 bag of stale popcorn, $30 hat, $35 t-shirt, $20 foam finger, and a $10 program each game.

So let's say that a couple of individuals write checks that more than covers your "losses" for each game, does it really matter where the game is played?

We probably make more money off of one game than any other by playing in Arlington, should be play every game in Arlington?

Those are numbers, but you can't expect to make money via merchandise sales by being good, winning games and shite if 21,000 people are watching the game on TV instead of in person since you can only by merchandise at the game.

What do these numbers prove to me?

2 games a year in Little Rock

vs

5 games a year in Fayetteville

.. Notta...

I'm assuming you can see how your post has almost no bearing financially or why games should not be played in WMS with those facts..

However, fire another shot.
