Does this douche have lung cancer? I thought I heard that the other day but I wasn't sure. If so I hate it for him.
For those of you that may not know he has been a long time caller to the Finebaum show. Major BAMA fan but kind of a douche.
I would like to throw some prayers his way if he has been diagnosed with lung cancer. God bless you Shane and I wish you well.

I read that rumor here. I have no idea if it is true. Even douche bags don't deserve cancer. I hope he beats it if true.

Shane is indeed sick. He needs everyones prayers. If he recovers he will have a different outlook on life. May the good Lords' grace be on him.

I just started listening to The Paul Finebaum Show on Sirius/XM Radio last week. I was listening to the show but I got out of my car to get gasoline. When I got back in the car I had just missed the call from "Bobby." Finebaum was talking about the call and how "Bobby" was banned from his show.
What did "Bobby" say?
Thanks.

Bobby pretty much said that Shane getting cancer was God's justice and that he was glad that one of Shane's last memories would be Auburn winning the national championship.
He posts on the Bunker. I almost had half a mind to buy a subscription just to tell him what a sick man he is. But there's no point in it. He already knows.

RT87,
WOW! No wonder he's banned.
Thanks for the info.

The fact that any rational person would take anything that the callers on that show say seriously is absurd.
People would call in there and say they hated God if they thought it would get under the skin of the rival fans.

It doesn't matter if what Bobby said was meant to be serious or not, goober. The point is he said it, and said it about a man who might be dying.
Shane undoubtedly heard it. How do you think that makes him or his family feel? How do you think that makes Finebaum feel? Shane is Finebaum's brother-in-law.

Not an issue. If Paul doesnt want to "feel bad", he should not run a shock jock program and try to rile up the callers like he does.
The line will be crossed and it is hard to determine where it is.
I am not agreeing with the call, just telling the other side.
Shane has always been a douche and someone on that show that had zero respect for anyone south of his own existence. He should not be surprised that people are not up in tears that something bad happened to him.
Im not saying people should be happy about it, that is crossing the line. But its not as big of a deal as people are making it out to be.
If it were not in Alabama and with those fan bases, you would have never heard about it. Its just the newest nugget in what is becoming the dumbest rivalry in college football.

Not defending Bobby, what he said was it would be "Ironic" if the last BCSNC that Shane saw was one won by Auburn. It was a DA thing to say, but it is different than saying it was God's Justice.

Wrong. He said his cancer was God's way of punishing Shane for his hatred of Auburn.

The fact that anyone gives two shits what Bobby or Shane said shows how petty the rivalry is becoming/has become. The only reason anyone would really care is to attempt to label an entire fan base based on the words of a couple of idiots who happen to root for particular teams. It is the same with the Updyke stuff, etc., etc.
Shane, Finebaum, Bobby, ITAT, BOL and some of us on here to varying extents feed into it.

I'm sure by now you've either heard, or heard about, Danny Sheridan co-hosting Paul Finebaum's live broadcast at SEC Media Days last Wednesday. I know the Auburn family's ears had to be catching fire - and maybe a few other things tightened up too - when Danny indicated that a source inside the NCAA told him that the group was aware of the name of a bag man in the Cam Newton case. His prediction that Auburn had a 50-50 chance of the NCAA's being able to prove it, coupled with the fact that Sheridan rarely speaks about a subject unless he knows the facts, should raise true concern with Auburn Tiger fans everywhere.
