Get your head out of your arse. Pike is a pro-style QB. There is no way he will play in a spread offense. Pike's dad killed two birds with one stone. The early commit takes some of the heat off the kid from the recruiting services and it helps his former roommate, Ted "Leaky" Roof out. Now the Boogs can say see, everything is fine because there is no way we land this kid if we're in trouble. But when it comes time to sign, it won't be with the barn. Watch and see.

Are you dumb? Serious question. I mean what I type and I rarely flame on the SECR.

This is an idiotic thread topic because none of us know the answer. How many of us know the Pike's personally?

Also, you may want to get off my dick about the cheating stuff because I've been one of the very few on here to take a wait and see approach to the Cam saga. I've also backed Fairley on multiple occasions.

Allow me to give you the simplest explanation possible. This is from a real insider, hell i bet he would get a cult following on here if he started posting more but it explains the whole situation.

simple bonobo. will be a major star in Spain, plus get to vote without all the baggage of USA...Looks like Nick Fairley goes first, Cam maybe second. I did hear from Chico Escuela, the Commisar de Espana Futbol, that the bonobos league does not require wonderlic, or academic success on any level. Mr. Escuala has been in lengthy talks with AU about establishing a pipeline in order to insure the best interests of both entities and outcomes for bonobos everywhere.

I am sure AU coaches told Pike what they wanted him to hear. You think they wouldn't downplay any potential trouble with the NCAA?

chances are, IF AU did something wrong, Ted Roof wouldn't know about it. I'm sure that he firmly believes AU is in the clear. IF Cam was paid, it was by a booster and I doubt the coaches had much to do with it. especially not the DC wouldn't didn't recruit him.

bullshite
Pike said his son's high school team runs the spread offense, but his son, who's athletic enough to play defensive end and basketball, too, "in all reality, is a pro-style quarterback with a very strong arm. He's not a spread quarterback."

But yet he commits to Auburn. And trust me, he will be signing with Auburn, barring major coaching changes (multiple coaches, not just Malzahn)

Malzahn is notorious for adjusting the offense to his QB. Look at what he ran at AR, then Tulsa, and now AU. He will change it up if he needs to. That's why his offense is really simplified. To produce maximum production and minimize confusion.

He has the ability to change up his system though. I'm not saying Pike is smart for going to AU, but Malzahn can change up his system. Look at what he did the year before without Newton.

Malzahn will change the system but it will be the same simple fast read and go offense. Hell the only person who thinks Malzahns offense is over complicated is nutt.

His offense is very simple, but it works. His offenses execute at a high level and it's because of the simplicity of the system.

According to Mike Slive the NCAA has not completed its investigation of the cam situation and there are "other" things being looked at so continue to spin it all you want.

what beats Malzahns system is a stay at home bend don't break defense. blitz and you show a weakness, if you don't give them anything to read then they need a cam type athlete to win games for them.

Obviously the confidence is pretty high that the investigation will not uncover anything
