Zeke Pike's commitment to AU

Does anyone think that Pike's dad would let his son commit to AU if there was any sign that AU would get into trouble? Do you think Ted Roof would lie to his old college teammate and roommate about the NCAA simply to secure a commtiment this early in the year?

Do I think college coaches would lie to anybody with regards to recruiting? no way, that would never happen.

Elite players were still committing to USC in the weeks and months leading up to the announcement of sanctions against the program.

Pike: "I'll just transfer with no penalties like they did at USC when/if Auburn gets slammed. Plus, when Malzahn leaves next year Frazier will follow and I'll slide up to the #1 spot".
