Well if you think about it, Crouse, Goforth and Wright are a better rotation than we had last year. Add Huber and Morgan at the back end and that is solid, I don't care who you are. Then add in the fact we have a lot of guys who hit for contact and can handle the bat in bunt/hit and run situations, we look like at this point that we have a good combination with the new bats. I guess time will tell though but I am already too excited than I should be.
That's enough baseball talk for now.
In related news. I figured out exactly when the first WAOM moment happened. Back in the early 1860's, we were set to have THE greatest Astronomy program in America. Chancellor Bernard built a building to house a new telescope that he ordered which would seal the deal for us being the best. As the guy finished the 19-inch telescope, he tested it. That telescope discovered the star Sirius B. This is considered to be the greatest astronomical find in the 19th century and it was discovered using OUR telescope.
Here's the problem...........Just after that, the Civil War broke out and the school could no longer provide the funding to finish purchasing the telescope. Now that telescope is sitting at Northwestern University and we ended up getting a crappy 15-inch one instead.
...WAOM
