I don't really want him to be. He can't do anything on offense besides a take a reverse and he has a bad attitude. We have a good return man who can actually MAKE a cut in Philander Moore, who I accidentally left off of our wr depth chart. He is already working out with the team along with several other jucos.
S&C coach Don Decker was on the radio on wednesday and he was talking about how impressive this group of jucos have been not only as far as talent goes but character-wise. He said alot of times you have to "break in" juco guys who have less than desireable work ethics but not with this group. Lastly, he said Philander Moore can scrate flyyyy.

I have never seen a fan base DIG and DIG for moral victories. I know last year was a rough year in Oxford with your football team being worse than Vanderbilt and all but my God you guys are pathetic. You have talked trash to MSU fans for a week straight because you switched a few of our guys. So we have the 40ish in recruiting rankings. Its funny to me how I see teams like Wisconsin (rose bowl) particpant recently and Boise St. (5 times the program Ole Miss is) Georgia Tech, Utah, Penn St., Miami and I could go on and on, are ranked right there with us. Yet you pull a 24th rated class (Scout) and act like you are contenders. Wake up. How many Pat Pattersons are yall guys going to have to have before you realize its more than winning a recruiting battle. The reason you are pathetic is because you have a team full of thugs that are obviously not well coached and damn sure not diciplined. So you guys continue to take your shots and enjoy your little moral victories while we continue to get better and better and build depth with good kids that want to learn and our COACHABLE. Guys you can deny everything I say and you can flame away, but I can assure you anybody with just a little football common sense can see that MSU is headed up while Ole Miss is dropping fast with an unsettled system and a lame duck coach. Enjoy your 4 or 5 more wins this year.

Everybody is giving Mullen shite about being a bad recruiter, yet all these guys were committed or leaning to State THE FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY.
Dead period hits, State goes to Florida and beats the hell out of Michigan, and suddenly players start waffling. It's rare recruits start backing off after a big win like that. Mullen didnt suddenly get bad at recruiting in one week.
Not to mention in an interview, CJ talks about how rude Mississippi fans were to him when he visited Oxford for the State/Bear game. A fan even pulled his ticket holder off his neck. And then he signs with them? Imagine what it would take for you to sign with someone after one of their fans did that to you?

Yeah we did have a rough year but what about states last decade yall have been pretty shitty even for state's standards. You can't coach up busch league recruits especially when all of your assistant coachs are getting out of starkhell as soon as they can. SECWest, slow down a bit. Mullen had peaked at State. Next year will be the same as last most likely for State and Mullen will catch the 1st train out of town.
The guy just flat out can't recruit. And he is not going to wait around for his last couple of shitty classes to set in @ State. Hell, ya'll were going for guys committed to Delta State & Jackson State by the end of recruiting. How many guys in ya'lls class had other legit SEC offers? Maybe 3 or 4. PJ, Morrow, Dee, Maiden and that is maybe it.
I really can't see how your program is still rising. Just get ready, because the coach who comes in after Mullet bolts will have his hands full. Full of shite.

whats hilarious is that I dont think you are flaming- I think you really believe that. We just went 9-4 with a quite a few 2-star players starting, and compared to what we have been bringing in, this class is just fine.
Just think about how shitty its going to feel for you this November watching us beat you for the 4th time in 5 years on our way to another NYD Bowl. And all you can do is sit there and take it.
