Yeah, bout that.... LSU was just considered a mediocre team for a long time there buddy. Til a certain coach came and LEFT. With that special ED coach you got LSU's only chance to do anything is IF every other team losses 2 or more games. You and I both know its true, LSU won't sniff an undefeated season for a long time. Miles will always find away to lose at least 1. Kinda sad considering the whole state is LSU's for the picken. You think if Auburn or Alabama was the only school in this state we'd be going undefeated with all that talent to choose from? oh wait, we do anyway. LSU fans that pull the "elite" card are comical. Your team has 2 crystal balls and Auburn has 1.

Everyone on here stays talking smack about sanctions in Auburns future... It's hilarious to sit back and watch the EXACT opposite of that happen. Looks like AU is building a PowerHouse of a program and if sanctions were coming the coaches would've jumped ship... instead they've stayed and all these recruits seem to understand the difference between message board butthurtness and the truth also. 2011 will be a tough year I'm sure but Auburn is in position to build one helluva program.

heres to wanting to fire your coach after the Oregon game

While some of your post was pretty good, here are just a few things for you to consider:
1. "If sanctions were coming the coaches would've jumped ship" Let me ask you a question, when did Reggie Bush go to the NFL? 2006. When did USC get hit with probation? 2010. Just because nothing has happened yet, it for sure does not mean that nothing will happen. Also, USC coaches didn't leave until right before the rulings were coming down. Also, when coaches are getting paid as much as they are at Auburn, there really is no reason to leave. 2. "All these recruits seem to understand the difference between message board butthurtness and the truth" - From 2006-2010, most everyone KNEW that Reggie Bush had done something wrong and it was just a matter of time before USC got handed a serious sanction. Here is how USC finished in recruiting during that time according to Rivals:2006 - 1st. 2007 - 2nd. 2008 - 8th. 2009 - 4th. 2010 - 1st.
So according to your great logic, USC should have just sucked in recruiting during that timespan because recruits "understand the difference between message board butthurtness and truth", but in reality, they actually finished in the top 5 every year but 1.
Again, I understand what you are trying to say, but I will say this, if it took the NCAA 4 years to pass judgment on the Reggie Bush stuff, and that stuff was pretty obvious, I would think that it would take the NCAA a little longer than a few months for this stuff about Cam Newton.

Unless magical proof that we paid Newton comes from something, nothing is going to happen. They've already said that the solicitation won't result in anything.

I really like all the Auburn fans who joined ~ the time of the ATPB started. Now that they have a BCSNC and they haven't received the Death Penalty they believe they can trash talk every other fan base on this site like they are some god of a program.

Yes LSU and AU may be similar programs overall, but in the past decade LSU has been an elite program. AU has glimpsed being elite on a few occasions and may be on the cusp. Let's wait until y'all have more than one good season to decide that.

It's not like Auburn was some black hole in the 2000s.

I agree, AU had a solid team in '04 and was competitive under CTT until his last few years. For a while the LSU-AU game was often the deciding game in the west.

There are still a few AU fans who are acting like AU is the greatest thing since sliced bread and the dynasty has already begun.

I agree some au fans are going a bit overboard, but its probably more as a jab back to all those who said we would never amount to anything after tubs left and chizik was hired. I may be wrong but I believe there was a four year period where au had the best record in cfb.

I agree it is a jab back at those who were predicting the Death Penalty and that AU would have their title stripped, etc. And not all of the AU fans are doing it. It just seems that Camgate brought a wave of new posters to the site and a majority of them seem to be bad (not all of them are bad and not all of them are AU fans; stupidity doesn't pick a team).

I actually have been a lurker here for a year but didn't join because I am active on a few other blogs for my hobbies. Jeep, bike, jet ski, boat. Then sold the bike and was going to join but didn't want to be lumped into the atpb group because of the join date. This is one of the better sec blogs out there, imo.

Yeah, I had lurked for at least a year before I signed up and kind of fear being lumped in with ATPB tards as well (iirc ATPB didn't start till Nov, so I was a member prior to it, but the dates are close and some people may still lump them together).

You obviously have your opinion and I'm not saying it's wrong or right anymore than mine. But I think the Reggie bush ordeal and camgate are apples to oranges. I don't feel like going through all of the differences again but there are plenty. I don't think it's anything close to RB case IMO.

To Eagle of War AU: You obviously are not capable of making a point. First, get your homeboy "thatguyrightthere"' 9 inch dick out of his mouth, and pay attention. The only thing I see is your attempt to measure your program with LSU's. You called out our recruiting class, which by the way is ahead of your team on Rivals but behind on Scout's. But, don't let that fact disturb you. You then posit that Saban is the reason we are a top program, but you conveniently ignore the fact he left over 6 years ago, and you ignore LSU's record under Miles. You pathetically flame our coach by saying he is a master of Special Education. I suggest you try not lumping all LSU fans into your groundless conclusions. It only spotlights your feelings of insecurity about your own program. As for Elite versus 2nd tier, I have not made that distinction, although it will be interesting to see if AU can maintain its level of success achieved this year on the football field for the next several years. Until then, go suck your boy's 9 inches.
