How is it an excuse, and not a slap in the face to UGA fans everywhere since most bandwagon dawgfricks weren't even alive. What's your "excuse"?

It is like when prior to last year when Bama football was ever questioned the response was something like "yeah well we have more National Titles or We dominated when Bear was here!"

Maybe I should use the word "response" instead.

If UGA were to beat Auburn for the next 10 years straight and not win a MNC. Way too many Auburn fans would say "yeah well, when was the last time UGA won a National Championship"

All I am saying is that it is now the go to for Auburn Fans.

I agree. Auburn's season without Cam and Nick will be most interesting.

Enjoy!

It's not even a month old. I'd hardly call it the normal response yet.

He makes a decent point. I intend to use it a lot in the next year.

But he better hope the pups beat Auburn in Athens this year or I might become insufferable.

I know way too many Bama fans and they did the same thing last year...after they bought their first Bama item.

I am not saying UGA fans wouldn't do the same it is just a lame go to.

Well, all I can say here in my soon-to-be-49th year is I ain't got tired of it yet.

(And, considering my memory of the UGa fans I knew circa 1980, it sure took them a loooooooong time to get tired of it too. )

All I'm saying is it's still fresh. I would give it a one year grace period. After the 2011 season, it becomes weak to use it, since there is a new champion.

That's just my opinion though.

I agree with this, they are the national champions until next year.

I find it funny this quote comes from an Auburn fan.
