Guess that depends on your perception of Saban. I happen to think he is 99% more honorable than most in the recruiting game.

Secondly, how honest other people are should never determine how honest you are or what your word is worth. Just my opinion.

Is it honorable to publically rip kids for backing out of their commitment but continue to pursue kids committed to other schools?

Hunter if you want a good laugh I would head to the AE recruiting board and check ou the Collins thread.

Here is my favorite quote

quote:

When Hill looked like he was going to commit to us both Hill and Collins were suppose to make an unofficial visit this weekend. That didn't happen. This could be much ado about nothing. However it turns out I'd like to know the story behind all this after NSD.
That is not accurate. At that time it was believed we needed them to visit this weekend to pull them. Now it seems we can pull LC without him visiting.

Again. It all depends on your perception of the man, like I said. Auburn fans will always find a reason to hate him no matter what he does.

Saban is more honest than most recruiting head coaches but he lets the assistants do the "dirty" stuff. If you guys knew the stuff that went on at LSU under Saban you'd have a different perspective of his credibility.I personally think it's all fair as long as it's kept private enough to where the NCAA can't come sniffing around but he's no choir boy for sure. It's just part of the process.Fans at Tennessee and Florida can be assured that their HCs were taught well and will do just fine on the recruiting trail once they get settled in at the schools and build relationships.

So you're intimating that Dooley and Jimbo and Muschamp are dirty coaches?

I'm kind of curious to know what specifically you're referring to now.
