my personal stance on this is as follows:

we won and I am happy. if it is determined that the NC will be taken away - ill be disapointed and upset - but only for the players who had nothing to do with it, and had the best year of their sports life invalidated. to be quite honest, the perception of other fanbases opinions on us have little impact on me at all. personally I do not know any of you, and were on a forum to chat - your opinions, while certainly valid in your perspective, in no way make me not sleep at night.

we won, im happy, your opinions don't change anything for me - thats the TLDR summary.

Lets see, they beat 8 teams in the top 25 and had the Heisman and Lombardi winner. They were the talk of the nation the last half of the year (Not only for Camgate). I was in New York over the holidays and cab drivers were talking about Auburn. If you go underfeated and win the BCSNC you get a lot more respect than a one or TWO loss champion.

Well your 2007 team barely even deserves mention and your 03 team is the only BCS Champion to ever have to share their title. So there's two.

Thracken as usual nails it.

It's not going to be a joke when your football program gets SMU'ed...
