Of course, I realize that we can't have it EXACTLY on Halloween, but the last Saturday of October is close enough for me.

Why did it change? The schools get some wiggle room when it comes to determining their schedules. Why the big change for OM/LSU and why did they allow it?

Remember the big scheduling change a good many years ago?

It caused several teams to have what I would call "home-heavy" schedules every other year. That's when it changed for us.

Now we typically get Auburn close to Halloween. This past year the game fell exactly on that day and it just felt really awkward and empty.

The POS Billy Cannon run-back happened on Halloween night.
