How can you honestly watch that play and come away with it as unintentional? We might as not call facemask and any pass inteferen e in your world as they never intended to do it. Or is this only for Bama players?

Bama had 2 obvious PF not called and that was one of them. The other was a ridiculous use of hands to the face by one of your defensive lineman. To make it even more obvious he made a sack because of it. I am sure he didn't intend to it and he was just playing football. Maybe we should call it Bama football.

If you watch the long kick run from #28 (Bama), a massive block in the back was missed

Check the first play of the 2nd half for LSU when Scott absolutely abuses McClain on the sideline and then repent for this bullshite thread

The injuries were flukes.

Scott just landed bad. Peterson had cramps. And Jefferson just jumped and landed badly on his ankle correct?

I fully expect Florida to beat Bama by 10+ in a few weeks.

lol, you knocked out Jefferson and Scott huh? Jefferson twisted his ankle because he was running backwards, and Scott landed on his arm wrong (after he gained 15 or so yrds)causing his collar bone to break. bama played hard, but it's not like those two players were beat up because of bama.

The point is he is leading with his head on the QB. What are you really trying to argue. The only way to say it is not intentional is to assume the player wouldn't do that from personal experience( maybe him and the refs are friends). It is like grabbing someone's facemask. They should have thrown the flag and it is almost ridiculous thatyou can see the ref looking right at it.

i think there were some bad calls, but hey it is what it is. no excuses, bama won. are they the better team? probably not, but they won the game. had peterson been in on the play where julio had a td things might have been differnt, but you never know.

No, it's not, but one difference I do notice between now and Bear's day is that Alabama fans are so insecure and classless that they have to go around making posts like this on another school's message board after a win, instead of just letting the win speak for itself.

Of course, you are setting yourselves up for a flame-fest when you do lose this year, which I think is likely, perhaps even before the SECCG.....

You are not good enough to beat Florida and your streak of never playing in a BCS title game in 20 years will be in tack. Remember LSU has 2 BCS Balls.

Technically Bama has one too.
The Crystal Ball Trophy is/was the Coaches poll Trophy. The first Waterford Crystal Football was handed out by the Coaches poll in 1986. Bama won one in 1992.

But its funny that LSU back ups scored as many touchdowns as LSU starters.
and how is that not a knock on Alabama?

I don't care. The point of my post is what could you take out of that game that LSU was the better team?

The 1992 team was very good with the great D and Derrick Lassic on offense, but everyone I talk to that remembers the 1979 team calls them the best Bama ever had.

Everybody always remembers whichever "great" team of their youth as the "best ever". I remember '92, but this team is better overall due to the semblance of an offense.

Cajun,

I'll ask again, you're what, 16, 17, 20 at most, since you're able to post in the middle of the day. My money is that you're still in your teens, everything you post is vintage insecure teenager who thinks he's a badass cause he posts on a message board. You're probably laughing and showing your dorm roommate on your laptop right now how your thread got 3 pages of responses!

p.s., if you are an adult, then just wow.

Teague...reason why I told the original poster why he thought this was the best ever since he discovered Alabama football in September of 2009. Your post is correct, you always remember that "great" team of your youth. Then, when you speak to someone who was older than you at that time, they tell you all the bad things you don't recall....laughing
