What matters is that they had UF on the ropes in the SECCG before letting Tebow go all Superman on their asses. They followed that up with a colossal choke job against a good, but not great, Utah team that had their own coach blaming the fans for the loss. It was a fitting end to the season after listening to them proclaim their own greatness for 12 weeks to anybody who would listen.

My point was that they have more recent success(recent as in last year and this year) to warrant a better chance at the SECCG. I don't see why not pick Bama to get there this year.
If you don't like it, beat em on the field. No sense in bitching about gurus not calling your name. You aren't in the drivers seat right now. It's Bama's to lose.
