LSU and bama both are in the running for this list. We both just need to take our whipping and stop arguing about it.

I'm not an LSU bandwagon jumper. I've been with the Tigers through some pretty dark days, but I've never been more disgusted than I was at times during this season. No sensible LSU fan can argue that this season wasn't a little embarrassing after coming off a national championship.

I'm also not a huge bama hater. I work for UA and my most favorite person in the whole world is a die-hard Gump. But I was in New Orleans, and even the most loyal Alabama fans were frustrated and embarrassed. Utah is good and has really surprising speed, and I know it was just one game in an otherwise great season, but it still gets you the nomination because it was so spectacular in its awfulness.

Plus, y'all ruined the Bourbon Street after party for me

I was so looking forward to finally seeing you guys cut loose and it just didn't happen.

One Bama fan did flash me though

What three teams were the worst at reprersenting the SEC this year?

1) Auburn - There is no debating this what-so-ever. Hopfully they turn it around next year.

2) Tenn - Their season cost Fulmer his job.

3) South Carolina - Only team to allow the Big 10 a bowl victory. That says something to me.

#3 is debatable IMO

If you're talking about the flasher, no, just intoxicated. When I declined to flash him, he figured he'd just flash me, twice no less, right there on the balcony of Bourbon Street Blues Company

I threw him my good beads

Jordan Jefferson played better at quarterback than JLee or Hatch have ALL season

That's true he did but he hasn't proven ANYTHING against SEC competition. His first challenge will be when he has to start a game next year on the road.

LSU hasn't fixed anything IMO except the hiring of Chavis as DC. LSU and Bama are in the same boat for next year with our inexperience QBs.

They also got demolished by Clemson.

I agree with this. However, I am much more confident after that performance against GT that JJ will be a tremendous asset and a playmaker next season. The QB situation can only go up from here, and after that inspired performance it looks as though the ascent has begun.

How much longer you think Spurrier and his ego will last at SC. They have a good class coming in this spring, if I'm not mistaken?

I would say goergia. Preseason number 1. I know I'm a homer but our fan base a long with other fans knew our quarterback situation. Georgia on the other hand was a unanimous preseason pick to make it to the sec and national championship. I know our 5 losses were bad, but the majority of us LSU fans knew 2 to 3 losses were almost a lock.

Are you referring to our first SEC road game MS State per lsusports.net, or Washington to open the season at Washington?

I disagree on this this one. The game against GT was a road start in a hostile dome (not sure the break down of the crowd, but I saw a lot of empty seats come the 4th) and he did just fine. Washington he will do fine. I think his first true competition comes at UGA Oct. 03.

I agree and his performance was uplifting for the future of LSU. I'm just saying that y'all have an unproven QB next year just as we will have (if they haven't proven anything in the SEC, they haven't done shite IMO). Our OL is gonna hurt us more than anything next year. We have some talented big guys but they have some BIG shoes to fill so we will have some growing pains. Our D should be good enough next year to carry us through those growing pains.

If he doesn't sniff the East, I think he'll retire next year.

Yes, I would say your D is going to be just fine. The QB situation might make the LSU/Bama game a bit frustrating for both sides this coming fall. Hopefully our D puts this reg season behind them -- if not it's gonna be another looong season for tiger fans. I think Bama and LSU both have top Ds next season.

I think he will be really tested against State on the road. Those cowbells are freakin loud and it will be tough for a young QB to handle IMO. You may be right though, the UGA game on the road may prove to be his first real test.

Y'all may have more fans at the Washington game so I think he'll be fine.

A prime example of why Chavis was hired. Having a 2 yr losing streak to those yahoos chaps my arse!

I think they will. Miles made some good hires and y'all still have a ton of talent so I think your D will be MUCH improved.

The good thing is that we won't see y'all until November so that will give the inexperienced QBs and our young line plenty of time to grow up.
