ND is always on these lists but those Tigers swear BK was hamstrung by ND's academic standards.

I've been impressed with the increase in talent level over Kirby's time in Athens in the defensive backfield.
When he came in UGA had DeAndre Baker and not much else at DB. The guys there tried hard and were coached well, but they simply didn't have the talent that the recent defensive backfields have had.
I expect UGA to climb lists like this as time passes

Add to that haul that ALABAMA has now been dubbed "Defensive Tackle U."
Only one college program has more defensive tackles in the league than Auburn, which is tied with Clemson, Iowa, LSU, North Carolina State and Texas at 7 NFL Defensive Tackles.
You guessed it, each of those schools has only half as many NFL defensive tackles as the college program with the most on offseason rosters. Alabama has 14 alumni playing defensive tackles in the NFL.
The Crimson Tide’s defensive tackles currently on NFL rosters include:
· Jonathan Allen, Washington Commanders
· Christian Barmore, New England Patriots
· Isaiah Buggs, Kansas City Chiefs
· Raekwon Davis, Indianapolis Colts
· Justin Eboigbe, Los Angeles Chargers
· Da’Shawn Hand, Miami Dolphins
· Phidarian Mathis, Washington Commanders
· Daron Payne, Washington Commanders
· LaBryan Ray, Carolina Panthers
· Jarran Reed, Seattle Seahawks
· A’Shawn Robinson, Carolina Panthers
· Dalvin Tomlinson, Cleveland Browns
· Quinnen Williams, New York Jets
· Byron Young, Las Vegas Raiders
. Eboigbe is the newest name on Alabama’s list. He joined the Chargers in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
By the way, Quinnen Williams has a contract worth $96 million. The value of Payne’s contract is $90 million, with Barmore at $83 million, Allen at $72 million and Tomlinson at $57 million.
Roll Tide everyone!!!

Washington usually seems to make them as well.

A lot of people forget how UW was rolling under Don James and what Peterson was building there before his retirement. Peterson would've eventually won a natty.

Kirby did good work with Bama DBs and UGA..
Seriously 17 is impressive as hell for Bama.

You're telling me it took Nick Saban 16 years at Alabama to finally top LSU on this?

Are you saying that Alabama had good recruiting under Saban? I just cannot believe that.

I think Saban’s ability to recruit really good football players was key to his success.
