Doesn't this count as twice, back to back? Yes, yes it does.

Maybe I'm crazy, but wouldn't those count as four times?
1971 and 1972 seasons - 1
1972 and 1973 seasons - 2
1973 and 1974 seasons - 3
1974 and 1975 seasons - 4
If so, then 1964-1966 would count as 2 times, and so would 1977-1979 and 2014-2016. This would add 4 to the total Bama "back to back" titles listing and give the Tide 10 total back to back SEC titles.

Works for me. It also implied that Coach Bryant choked the life out of college football through the 70s. Once Bear got his hands on African American talent he won more games in a decade than any program previously. 8 SEC titles, and 3 NCs in 10 years ain't bad in the SEC.

Enjoy the fun with your son. But make sure you buckle your seat belt on the kiddie ride that is Auburn football. Drive safely now!

Notice something interesting, UGA has won the SEC the year after each of your most recent 4 SEC title runs when they won the SEC in 1976, 1980, 2017, and 2022.

To end a BAMA run you would have to be the team that finished them off in the SECCG. When did that happen? Like ever?

You realize the SECCG didn’t exist during the vast majority of these years, right? Regardless, I changed the wording a bit.

So you just happen to win the SEC the next year. Wow, given as many titles as BAMA has won that's something. And the reality is that only Florida can say they have ended any of our runs in the SECCG. In 32 years.

This thread was about consecutive titles. Florida has not won an SEC title in any of the years following your consecutive SEC title runs.

lol @ Georgia repeating...once.
hahahahaha
As always, basically the SEC is Alabama, then Tennessee, then everyone else.
It's coming back round to UT ownzoring again. I hope you goobers have enjoyed the past 15 years.
