How long until reality sits in for hogs fans? Game 5? 10? 15? 20? The melt will be awesome. You just hired a guy who won 1 NCAAT game in 5 years. With the number one or two recruiting class every season. And has publicly said the SECT doesn't matter numerous times. He told a recruit Arkansas is ''calipari university''.
But what can you expect from a team that has beaten UK 6 times in 15 years? Even during their peak with Nolan, they won 38% of their games against UK. Out of 22 possible SEC titles they only won 3. UK won 2 titles to their 1. Went to 4 final fours to their 3.

With what Coach Pope has assembled in the little time he has had, it is pretty remarkable. Just imagine when he gets a full year to recruit.

I do think this year will be better than I thought 3 weeks ago.
