Thank you.

Yeah, here's the thing: I'm not young. I was a toddler when he was at Georgia.

quote:

Richt was there for 15 years averaging 10 wins a year and if you think he was a failure you are stupid as well as young.

All those years with Georgia's resources and recruiting and his peak was what, a sugar bowl win over Hawaii?

You idiots CONSTANTLY dog Brian Kelly for having no National Championships at ND, but Richt couldn't do shite at Georgia and the only thing in his way was about 3 good years from Urban and Florida.

quote:

Ray Goff was given 7 years and Jim Donnan 5 or 6. And even though they didn’t meet Georgias standard for wins their records would have been a fantasy for a lot of teams. Yours included

Pffffttt

Georgia has played about 80 more games than LSU and is still only about even with LSU in football success.

And that's just 1 sport.

Why is OP so mad about all of this?

Probably the disappointment that all his marbles were on the expected success of LSU WBB and/or LSU baseball and…well…

Isn’t it sad when former successful football programs now get all worked up over womens sports

It’s 2024 and the present and the future are the only things we care about. Not games that my great grandfather attended.
Too bad for LSU that they have made such a bad hire. A embarrassing southern speaking dancing queen who can’t win the big games and has never ever beat UGA. FIFTY!!!

Kinda weird thing to say when both teams are having their success in the last couple of decades.

Well, for 2 years LSU struggled, didn't even make .500, and now Kelly took that team and won 20 games, had them in the SEC Championship, and recruiting is getting even better. And Kelly's only played Georgia once at LSU.

He played Georgia twice while at ND. Even resorted to having his team flop TWICE at key points in the game in Athens. It was so obvious that even the tv announcers were laughing at the ND players acting skills. Still couldn’t pull off a win. Another big fat loss for old Grinder.

Ok.

Had ND in 1 BCS championship and in a playoff. Far more than Richt ever managed.

Admittedly, it is a low bar, but Brian Kelly clears it by a mile.

I'm glad you're happier with BK than a coach UGA fired.

I'm happy LSU has BK as well.

But he has never beaten UGA and has never won anything important. ND always gets special treatment so I wouldn’t give too importance to those playoffs. And didn’t they get totally humiliated in those games? Anytime ND strings two wins back to back the media starts talking about national championships.
In a few years when LSU has sent the dancing Queen on his way for not winning anything you will still be here. Only then you will be saying what a dud of a coach he is.

Old Grinder never averaged 10 wins a year for 15 years. Georgia loved Richt
and still does. But we knew we could do better than 10 wins, new years bowls and SECs and Kirby has proven us right.

I’m actually happy they have BK too. He is no threat to Georgia. Hope he stays for the next 20 years. If he left LSU might actually hire a good coach and things would get a little bit harder for UGA. Not much though

Yeah, everybody said the same kind of thing about Miles and Orgeron.

They won big at LSU.

Kelly is a better coach than either of those guys were when they came to LSU.

He was also a better coach when he came to LSU than Saban was in 1999.
