It's funny how some of you are mad that LSU WBB was in the locker room for the anthem

You must not realize that your favorite CFB team does the same thing.

Retarded statement.

It's crickets when the Texas A&M football team leaves the field prior to the national anthem.

But if the LSU women's basketball team does it, everyone melts.

Why is that?

I'm sure that was "different" because of unspecified reasons.

Difference between actually leaving the court during the anthem, and just being in the locker room at the time. The first is disrespectful, while the second is simply unfortunate.

If they were already in the locker room then few would notice or remark on it

Mulkey said it was an accident. Might be true as it aligns with how unprepared she was last night.

They didn't leave the court during the anthem, they were simply in the locker room, just like your favorite CFB team.

Not only are y'all mad, y'all don't even know what actually happened.

If neither team is out there for the national anthem, no big deal. If one team is out there standing respectfully during the national anthem and the other team is in the locker room, then it is a very bad look and pathetic.

Sounds good in practice but who's coordinating that? Some teams remain in the locker room as a practice, some come out to the court.

Some do both, just depending on the timing of the anthem.

They were actively leaving the court from what the news reported. Otherwise, it is simply bad form and I retract my statements.

Today he has spent hours defending women’s basketball players who refuse to show support for their country. And people have said he used to be a good poster on this site.

Same news that didn't know that LSU is always in the locker room at this time?

Nah, they were just absent, the same as CFB teams.

Oh look the media is trying to destroy LSU at something else. Won't work.
