They’re college kids and they’ll be pumped full of adrenaline. If they get tired it’s because we’re running them ragged, not because their flight was delayed.

UCONN is the favorite for a reason, but this air of invincibility is a farce. We’ve got 3 or 4 guys that can shoot the fricking daylights out when they’re on. I don’t care how good you are, if a team is dropping 3s on your head every possession it’s human nature to force the issue. The made three pointer in basketball is a lot like a team just running it 6 yards at a time in football. It’s demoralizing. I have no concerns about our guys being intimated. I have no delusions we’re going to play lockdown defense. It’s going to come down to shot making. So far in the tournament we’ve been pretty good at it. Over the course of the season we’ve had cold nights. We can’t afford a cold night. We need Mark, Rylan, Wrightsell to shoot their average and we need Walters, Estrada, Stevenson and especially Nelson to shoot over their average. This ain’t the ‘97 bulls, it’s a team of kids with multiple double digit losses. Blitz Bama Blitz.

Do you drive to the basket hoping to get Clingan in foul trouble early?

I say no. We miss layups when there isn't an elite big man waiting

Illinois kept trying to get him into foul trouble while they were getting a 30-0 run dropped on them. They repeatedly kept driving to the rim and repeatedly got turned away.

Yeah when you are 7'2" you dont have to leave your feet early (because you really dont have to leave your feet).

Its not as easy as just driving to the basket and getting cheap fouls.

Don't let them go on a 30-0 run would be my first point. If that starts happening, tackle Clingan. Tackle him. Not a soccer tackle either. Pretend you are Rolando McClain and Saban is watching.

Next, put all 5 guys behind the 3point arc.
Trelly, Stevenson, Nelson, Sears, Griffen. If Clingan stays in the paint, the open BAMA player shoots a 3 and feed the hot hand.
If Clingan comes out to guard, Sears and Trelly drive to the rim. Continue this for the entirety of the game.

On defense, when you foul Clingan, foul that frail bastard hard, but don't get Flagrants. Tell Dioubate, Wague, Estrada, and Pringle they can play in the Natty if we win. When Nelson fouls out use Pringle and Wague to rape Clingan if they have to.

In all seriousness I think it comes to free throws. If UCONN gets 40+ FT attempts BAMA is sunk because BAMA isn't going to get many FT attempts. So just Let them get theirs. Especially if Nelson or Sears or Griffen csn get hot from deep. Don't foul on D if you're hot at the other end. I'm talking to you Nelson.
