colleges have no business being a development league for the nfl.

That's stupid.

A. Colleges are a developmental league for a shite load of professions.

B. Damn near every player in college football will never see a down in the NFL. MANY, however, will work in athletic related fields, including coaching. Broadcasters, managers, trainers, therapists, agents, all have sports related tracks they can follow at some school. Coaching itself should be a degree track.

There are degree tracks for those broadcasting, academic occupations. Sports Medicine, business, etc.

You think there should be a coaching degree in college? They gonna teach stuff like what is a buck Linebacker and how many timeouts you get?

Why does baseball have a semi-pro league?
