I’m even more confused! So we wait until he’s called up to 3A ball, put up the statue, take it down 9 years and 364 days after the championship, then put it back up the following day?

This is a different argument and one I would be more willing to hear.

However, I can’t fault the University for celebrating a player who we would not have won a championship without.

But really at that point we’re arguing the appropriate amount of time to what…honor a player?
