Nope. And it makes more sense to keep it. East TN is not conducive to growing athletic grass in the early spring. Fescues is almost all we grow and it since we are between north and south zones spring grass is just not viable.

Unless the Vols want to play on clover then it’s going to be turf

The artificial turf allows more games to be played. There are a lot of games that are played on the fast runoff turf that would be rainouts on grass. Since one goal is to get the most iterations possible for the team, the turf stays.

Yes, but I've heard they move the fences back a bit for softball.
