Keon Sabb realizes what all the LSU fans have been preaching. Deboer is a shitty coach and Alabama is a dumpster fire that is on the verge of imploding. So he transferred there.

Most LSU fans do not think DeBoer is a shitty coach, they think he’s a very average, unspectacular coach. Most LSU fans do not think Alabama is a dumpster fire, they just think that Bama’s dominance is over, and 3 loss seasons will be the norm.

Stop thinking in extremes. DeBoer is average and average is not bad. Some schools have proven they can win with average or even below average coachesl, i.e. LSU. However, Bama is not one of those schools.

Have you not heard that most top players don't go to classes nowadays?

Their expectations for Deboer are hilarious. There will be a lot of shouting. gnashing of teeth and hand-wringing when he doesn't meet them.

I think both are very good coaches, so don't label me as saying Kelly is bad or average.

But I have no idea why anyone would think DeBoer is average but Kelly is great.

I assume that's what most LSU fans think based on your post and that appears to be totally subjective.

DeBoer’s resume does not come close to Kelly’s.

I'm totally fine with LSU being content with such a mediocre coach.

So you are saying they will be like LSU. That is all you had to say. Could have saved yourself a lot of typing.

Why would anyone want to go play at Bama without Nick Saban there anymore?

GOAT program. Some of the best facilities in the nation. One of the best coaches in the nation. Any other brain busters?

Classes started January 10th at Bama, and drop/add date/change classes was January 17th. How is he enrolled a month after classes done started and midterms are a month away for this semester?

DeBoer ...may or may not pan out to be a great coach, far too early to tell. ...Anyone hired came with risk, but there is reason to be hopeful if you are in Alabama fan... Seems to be doing everything right for the time being, and I can't think of another coach I would rather have at Alabama, other than Kirby.....Can he win like Nick Saban? Probably not... Most college football fans understand that the portal has leveled the playing field somewhat. Nick Saban averaged close to two losses (1.7) a year at Alabama. I suspect that number will go up slightly, but not much.

One is in his sixties, the other forties. Compare them at the same age in their career and get back to me.

Not bad for a RS freshman on possibly the best defense in the country.

These are schools who were interested.

But I admit if LSU didn't think they could use him on their defense, that should scare the hell out of errbody.

DeBoer has already coached in as many national championship games as Kelly and win more playoff games.

That’s not how it works. What can they do now is more important. Don’t believe me? Lottttts of growing pains coming his way. Lemme know where DeBoer is coaching in 3 years. Maybe 4.

This is such a strange time for college sports. This kid just helped prevent Nick Saban from going out with a national title. Now he’s gonna be suiting up for Alabama.
he's really good and would have played a lot but Rod Moore and Makari Paige are returning starters
