True dat. At least Haskins beat one of our 3 main rivals on the road.

Another huge depth piece. Actually think this guy might start since he’s familiar with the expectations of the 0 tech in Durkin’s defense. Fills a massive need.

Now we need Reed to take that step needed to give us 20-25 snaps a game.

Also Zeke can possibly lose a few lbs now to get to a more natural playing weight at the 5 tech. He’s at 284. I think 270-275 would be a great weight for him and maybe get some explosiveness we saw as a freshman back.

That jacket and the color scheme vis a vis the meme makes me think about the primitive TigerRags blog with Tigereyes logos all over the screen.

I think we just picked up 2 starters. Raikes and Blidi start, Jones, Keys and Trill are the key back ups and that lets us redshirt our freshman.

Juju Lewis did an interview with Rivals.. nothing major, because he basically said with UGA having their QB they aren't really in it right now. When he talked about USC he mentioned that he actually likes small towns, so playing out there would be a big adjustment. Mentioned playing with Cam Coleman would be a blessing.

If The kid from Arkansas State can give us 5-6 sacks and decent pressure it'll be a game changer.

Everyone says Raikes is a
The starter but he's only started like 5 games? Is this all on potential I guess? Jones must be truly bad if he gets beat out by a dude with that little experience, but I'd be glad to see some improvement from that position

Yes a lot on potential. Also based on what we have. As you said, Jones isn't very good, but he's good enough to be a part of the rotation.

Gus "emphasized" the OL plenty, he just absolutely, positively, failed to beat the waves of negative recruiting associated with our O line recruiting.

This is a fancy way of saying he sucked at recruiting the OL.

I am friends with a former offensive coach at Auburn (under Gus) and he would laugh at you if you said Gus scouted and recruited the OL.

He barely tried. All of his energy was spent scheming on offense, recruiting skill positions and letting Kevin Steele find his own defensive players.

Gus would still be at Auburn if he gave a d*** about the OL.

This has been a stellar portal. We have hit on every defensive 1st choice so far. Time for the offense to do something.

Also, if Caleb Wooden is in the safety rotation, then they may need find a safety in the portal.

We addressed needs with mostly P5 rotational/starter type guys, which the coaches demonstrated was a priority in the winter portal season as well. Big departure from last year when we were just filling out a roster with anyone

He’s a starter. The Safety room is packed right now.
