Gotta take someone. We’re still in the Lacey and Juju sweepstakes but Longstreet felt most realistic

Juju or bust. We give him the best shot at playing early, we have highly ranked WRs we can sell, its close to home, and we will pay him a whole lot of money. I would love to lock down a big time WR recruit before his visit or maybe get them to visit at the same time.

This class is about OL/DL. We will land who we can at QB but I have a feeling it’s gonna be KJ or no one at QB.

I personally think we get a 1 year “elite” transfer QB after the season because we need to compete in ‘25. Then it will be whoever wins the starting job from the high school recruits at QB in ‘26. White at this point would be the presumptive starter.

But OL/DL is the important part of this rebuild. Need a couple big depth WRs and an elite speed WR. At least 2 pass rushers.

I agree Corch, focus on the OL and DL this cycle.

Guess we are still feeling out this NIL process, but if you bring in elite talent at QB every cycle you are guaranteed to be paying some big bucks for someone to sit on the bench and then transfer....and it will lessen the budget for other needs.

Yep we have bigger holes than QB. Plus I think the right move is to go after the or a top portal QB for next season.

We need to increase the tempo on offense. We need to get at least close to 75 plays a game. We need to throw it between 33-37 times per game as well. To get QBs WRs, and upper level elite OTs.

Plus I think our best defense this season may be a good offense. I think we have a solid defense but few big time play makers that have experience.

Leaves money for a stud transfer QB with a couple years to play, and can play this season.

How many of those stud qbs transfer? We need a stud in this class. WW may or may not pan out and clearly the qb position is one of the team weakness

There were plenty in the portal in December that would’ve been a major upgrade over PT. Freeze needs a guy to come in and show something on the field before he can start stacking up high school QB and WR talent. Another year of PT is not going to do that.

Two way street. Plenty of transfer QBs but you’ve gotta have an offense and some dudes, or a track record

We have a limited window to sell the future before we’ll have to prove we can win. In terms of QB play, if not winning, proficient offense

Yes we have to increase number of plays per game. Just that will increase numbers. We can’t be around 55-60 plays. Just not enough numbers. 15 more plays is about another 80-100 yards more offense.

Jville we aren’t going for a starting QB in the portal in this spring. So please stop that dumb shite.

I think we will go after a top 1 and done at the end of the season. And only if he is coming before spring. I don’t even think we pick up a QB if Holden transfers this spring at worst we can stick old dude at WR at QB if we get to Q4 this season. Plus Hank and Walker getting tons of snaps in practice will be a good think because your 2 and 3 only get about 25% of snaps in a weekly game prep

Uhhhhh. No he doesn’t. Please list a time he played himself out of a job…. And no. He wasn’t being pushed out at MSU, the Mel Tucker situation did that.

When looking at WRs this spring could any WR on the roster last season play over Cam Coleman or Robert Lewis?

I’ll answer it… No not 1. I’m not saying Thorne played good or bad but who was he supposed to throw to other then Rivaldo and Javarius Johnson? Burton came on some late in the season but on one on the roster would be better then Cam and Robert.

Don't care who it was it was based on his play

At some point Auburn is going to have to over pay for a QB. We're not going to be special again until we get someone exceptional at that position. Husan may not.be the one to break the bank on, but we're going to have to do it for someone.

2020 was his freshman year, dude. Does Arch Manning or Cam Newton or any of the thousand QB’s to take a RS have a “track record” of Playing themselves out of a job?

You are reaching so hard right now it’s pathetic.

Noah Kim threw for 1000 yards and 6TD 6 INT’s last year….. Haiser threw for 1100 yards and 6 TD 5 INT’s.
