Probably my favorite name. At least the way it rolls off the tongue.

I know it is small. But Little Red River is great!

Mississippi is #1 by a mile and the Suwanee is also #2 by a mile.
Battle for 3rd imo comes down to:
Chattahoochee/Apalachicola River
Pearl River
Tennessee River
Pascagoula River
Mobile-Tensaw Delta

The Cumberland River begins and ends in Kentucky. Headwaters up in the hills above Harlan and mouth at the Ohio River.
GO KATS!
The Red River in Kentucky where it goes through the Gorge is beautiful. The Big Sandy in the breaks and the Palisades of the Kentucky are beautiful.
But the greatest river is the Mississippi.
Runoff from every SEC state but Florida.

Most of it is in Kentucky as the state line is the low water mark of 1792. We won that case in the Supreme Court.
The Ohio River is hydrologically larger (greater flow) than the Mississippi at the confluence near Cairo, IL.
The Ohio is 981 miles long, 664 miles of which border Kentucky.
