Inge from the Washington staff is expected to be the ILB coach.
One of LBs was all Pac-12 1st team and one was all Pac-12 honorable mention.
He was named Our Network, whatever that is, Pac-12 linebacker coach of the year.
I really didn't want to bring in any Washington defensive staff but he has enough to for me to give him a chance. I really want us to go back to that elite linebacker play we use to have.

I agree about the staff. Nothing statistically was very good there. My biggest concern with this staff so far is whether or not they can motivate the players toughness to Alabama standards. It seemed to return last year and I really hope they can build upon it.

Defense or rather being serious about defense was/is the only mild concern I have with CKD. You don’t necessarily have to have an incredible defense in the SEC (although it doesn’t hurt) to win but you better have at least a good one.
The cobbled together secondary is going to need some massive coaching up and reps, reps and more reps this Spring and August.
