The NFL's amount of SEC players on rosters tells a different story.

A total of 372 former SEC football players were listed on NFL active rosters during the opening weekend of the 2023 season, up from 369 last season - the most NFL players of any conference. In addition, 97 former SEC players are listed on reserved/injured lists and practice squads.

Alabama led the SEC with 58 former players on NFL active rosters, followed by Georgia (46), LSU (43) and Florida (34).

ACtually pretty wild tbh, 24% of the NFL is all SEC players lol. If you count practice squads its 27% basically.

It’s pretty bad when even Aggie is laughing at the dumpster fire.

It's ok. I've got a brother that claims to be a conservative, yet (like you) he acts like a liberal. Eventually both of you will be secure enough to come out as your true selves.

I think you are confusing "laughing" with "Hoping and PRAYING". Time will tell.

Washington would've had 8 or 9 wins at best playing in the SEC gauntlet.....and you f*cking know it.

Those 14 wins came from a sh*thole conference that hasn't amounted to sh*t in years. The Pac-12 is not the SEC

Will your parents ground you if they catch you cussing or something?

Absolutely! How could anyone accept a 14-1 season? or a coach that won 104 games while only losing 12, which includes a 25-3 record with Washington and a trip to the NC game. Fire that loser coach today!

I cannot believe the number of people on this site that believe the SEC is some unbelievable all-around giant where every team is on the same level as Alabama and Georgia. Y'all know other conferences had winning records against the SEC this year, right? It may be hard to believe, but there are quality football players that play in other leagues...

That’s true, just not as many as in the SEC, as evidenced by the current makeup of NFL rosters. The SEC has far more former players on NFL rosters than any P5 conference. The Big 12 has the least, by the way.

Washington is much like Texas in that they played top 20, in conference schedules in the country.

The only problem is they'd have been bottom 4 in the SEC.

Actually Texas had a tougher schedule than all but 2 SEC teams, one of which was the team Texas beat on the road by 10.

Sorry facts don't agree with your narrative.

We can’t take a really solid C given our C situation?

And what’s wrong with taking a CB and a WR? We need help at those positions, bigly.

Actually, you just suck at reading:

Without Penix, they lose 4-5 games in the Pac 12 bubba Gump. Pull your head out of the sand. Chizik went undefeated in the SEC and won the Natty with Cam Newton. Without Newton, Auburn loses 3-4 games..

So you’re telling me if you take away a team’s Heisman-winning or Heisman finalist, NFL first-round lock QB, that team won’t be as good? You’re frickin kidding me. No way.
