Kelly isn't going to be calling shite here. For the millionth time: "Co-whatever the frick" is just a title to justify a coach's salary/up their resume.
What you all are missing is that Smart is a defensive HC himself. So T-Rob being "Co-DC" means frick-all and it doesn't matter one bit if he actually can or can't call a defense (he never has successfully) because the HC is going to make sure that side of the ball is operating regardless.
Freeze is an offensive guy. Which means he needs an ACTUAL DC. No, that isn't Kelly (if it was him, he would have been hired as DC - not "Co-DC").
Anyway, all it takes is using your brain for one second to understand that T-Rob in a Co-DC/Safeties role is really no different from Kelly in the same role.

I asked who is going to be DC. That's it.
If TRob is just going to be a DB Coach then you are helping Randy's point because TROB is a stud as DB coach.
