Drink and by a country mile. No insult intended to my Ole Miss friends but Drink pulled out a fantastic season when most everyone thought they'd be battling Vandy for the basement.

I'd say Drink. Had less to work with and probably more pressure to perform (even though I personally frickin hated Lane after the way we ended last season. All good now)

Drink for the reasons previously stated. He was gone if he wasn't successful this year.
IMHO it's good for the SEC when MU is making headlines. The rest of you frickers need to step it up!

Kiffin. Much harder to win at Ole Miss than Mizzou. Mizzou is a much better program.

Kiffin has already done things before this year so I would have to say Drink had the better season considering where he came from.

Mizzou was picked preseason to finish 6th in their division and will probably finish 8th in the country. Having said that Kiffin did great at OM too. I'd say it's too close to call.

Kiffin because of the wins on the field, and wins off the field, nice looking girlfriend.

It's close but it has to be Drink because he was on the hot seat coming into the season and Mizzou was picked to finish 6th....in the division.
Kiffen was expected to have a good season.

Tough one. Two very similar seasons.
Mizzou points per game 423, Ole Miss 456
Mizzou points allowed 271, Ole Miss 293
But, in judging the coaches many point to penalties and time of possession begin a reflection of the coach. This surprises me b/c Mizzou was plagued by offensive penalties early in the season but cleaned it up in a big way:
Mizzou average TOP 30:25, Ole Miss 27:44
Mizzou average penalty yards/game 54.54, Ole Miss 59.08
Based strictly on coaching, I would say Drink based on those couple of minor factors. Great season for both tho!

Time of possession is a meaningless stat for Ole Miss.

Drink. I think most people assumed Kiffin would get ole miss on the straight and narrow

Drink should be SEC coach of the year

I didn't watch much of Mizzou this season so just going only by tangible results, it's an incredibly difficult decision. Though Mizzou did have the benefit of not having to play Bama. That most likely would have been a loss.
i think our chances at beating bama would have depended on at what point in the season we played them and whether it was home or away

I’ll say Drink. Only because it was more surprising. Lane has been building and you could see it coming. For Drink to come out of nowhere and did what he did this season.. I give this individual season to Drinkwitz.

I haven't seen it mentioned much, but imagine if 2023 OM had played UF, USC, UK, or UT from the East instead of UGA.
