If he goes to Bama or Auburn we won’t have to play him unless we go to the sec championship or playoff so I’m fine with that.

Thank God we don't have to play any Alabama schools next year.

So Lane being frustrated to you implies he IS involved? Kinda implies the opposite to me.

The idea that he’s leaving because Kiffin lied to him about how he would be used (in the passing game) makes a hell of a lot more sense than that tripe. Yes Ole Miss over extended it NIL ability by overpaying last year and this year but the root cause is Kiffin lying to the guy.

Why are positions given money instead of players getting money for name image and likeness? Don’t understand how this is allowed. This isn’t NIL.

His mom wasn’t happy with her 3 star son becoming a millionaire before his 21st birthday and being one of the top players on a top 10 team?

Makes sense.

Yea not happening. His discussion with "Friends and Family" told him to come home and get more money. He will play for an Alabama school next season. Most likely Auburn.
Auburn, who needs olinemen as bad or worse than OleMiss is going to pay Judkin’s $1.3 and take on his momma’s demands and deal with his locker room/team mate issues?

Hugh literally just mentioned his team’s “me first” attitude and dealing with his own teams “culture” issues.

They aren't, thus the frustration. Had he been involved, Judkins wouldn't have been making as much.

Me first attitude fits well with a Hugh Freeze coached team. Hugh has been known to take cancers and cover for their bad behavior.

Coach shouldn’t know and neither should the other players

If a 20 year old kid gets a deal for more than half a mil, other people are going to know about that.

I would bet a good college HB is worth far less in NIL than they think. If NIL was actually about companies paying players for advertising, they would be worth a lot comparatively for their fame. But we all know its a program driven bidding war for talent and the HB position is just as replaceable in college as in the NFL.

Judkins saw Ole Miss paying big bucks to key positions like pass rushers and thought he was just as valuable. He’s not.

Maybe kiffin should've spent more time in Oxford than cocking off about visiting Fayetteville to secure a mid defender from us

We good he can go somewhere else, we are pretty set at RB with Diggs, Jackson, Holly and Durham and probably Josh Williams coming back for like what feels like his 10th season. Don’t need another locker room cancer, we just got rid of two from the defense in Denver Harris and Duce Chestnut not to mention our idiot former DC who the players apparently did not like much

I didn’t watch but a handful of Ole Miss games this year. But how big a loss is Judkins really? Yes he was all SEC. But he didn’t just jump off the screen as an elite, take over the game type back. Of the top 20 running backs in the SEC by total yards, Judkins had the lowest average yards per carry by over half a yard. His production was off this year compared to last year by almost 400 yards on the same number of carries (274 vs. 271). His yards per carry were down by over a yard this season. Against the two best defenses he faced this year (both Ole Miss loses) he had 56 and 75 yards rushing and 10 and 14 yards receiving. He is an above average back, but is he really a game changer worth bending over backwards for? I would say no. Add to that it looks like his teammates and head coach are tired of him. He should probably hit the road for a fresh start somewhere else.

Guys that run into a wall don’t last in the league. He would be an undervalued 2 down (at best back) with a very limited career after college. He wanted to be an every down back and be used out of the backfield to add value in the NFL but he’s had 2 almost nonexistent years in that role with Kiffin.

So yes he will want assurances that he’s not just going to be used up in college to go with his NIL money.

A star RB is worth a hell of a lot more in college than the NFL
