I don't see a major program with big NIL money doing that when he's never started at Bama. And whatever a Tulane or Arkansas State type program would offer wouldn't be worth giving up a likely 2025 high profile, starting job at Bama. jmho

Alabama offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan said the A-Day scrimmage will be similar to the Crimson Tide's previous scrimmages this spring.

I believe DeBoer is going to speak about the specific format of the A-Day scrimmage during his presser today.

quote:

New OC Nick Sheridan tells @TheGAMEon1009 he will be up in the box for Alabama's A-Day game, but he is uncommitted to whether he'll be up in the box or on the sidelines this fall. He's done both in his career.

I saw Milroe make one throw in the USF game that went over the middle that let me know he was better.

Think he meant Simpson there. The best pass of the game was from Simpson to the TE.

No… that was Tyler Booker that made that throw. Milroe made a 77yd field goal in that game

Cuevas the TE transfer from UW seems to be pushing for the TE2 position over the veteran guys with Dippre at TE1. Seems to be an overlooked group with so much attention on the WR's. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out.

According to @RossDellenger, Alabama will begin a renovation next week of Nick Saban's old, wood-paneled office. Kalen DeBoer's new office will have glass walls and more modern style:

Kalen DeBoer says the format for Alabama's A-Day Game will be "offense vs. defense" rather than splitting up into two teams.

So it's just "offense vs. defense", instead of the way we've done it in the past. So I guess that means no steak for the winners and beans for the losers?

That’ll still happen; they are going to score the defense too by using some kind of a formula.
That’s my understanding from reading quotes about the game.

Brailsford is probably not playing per KD due to missing a lot of practice. Is there something medically going on here or is this a personal family type matter. Boz? Where are you?

Not medical. He has a personal family issue going on. They are easing him back into practice. Will be good to go for the season.
